Did you contemplate an amnio over having a CVS? I know that for MYSELF when we do have another child, my MD's prefer to do an amnio*. There is lesser risk - I know for an amnio there is a 1 in 200-300 (depending on what literature you read) for miscarriage in contrast to 1-100 for CVS. *Here's the catcher - I may even have to decide against an amnio for certain medical reasons. I have an appointment with my OBGYN's next week. We are going to discuss other possible options, if any. I want all the facts before moving forward.
