diane i was diagnosed at age 7 and am now 27 and fine. i take hydrocortisone 20mg/day and really have had no major problems. i did gain alot of weight when i first started taking the meds but am now actually very petite so weight is not a problem. i did have period problems and was put on birth control to take care of that. just keep an eye on her and i am sure she will be fine. to AMANDA'S MOM- i too have had alot of excess hair but mostly leg etc. (no facial hair) what type of laser treatment did your daughter get and did it work? thanks and good luck to you all
