susan you had said that you have cah and had to take the dex. I also have cah(non salt-wasting). i am recently married and have talked to my doctor about getting pregnant. He NEVER said that i had to take the dex- he just said that that was an option to be discussed further when i come closer to wanting a family. I dont know why one of us obviously has the wrong info. so any more information you could give me about that would be great. also i am not sure if you are a salt waster or not or how extensive your cah is but i really do not feel at all effected by my cah except to be aware in crisis - sickness etc. i would be very much interested in hearing more about these side effects you are talking about. the only side effect i can say i have is high blood pressure and a temper HOWEVER everyone in my family has a temper and high blood pressure- not to say that it is a good thing but i can never be sure if it is the condition- the meds or just my heredity and personality. i was interested in your comments and would like to know more you have to say thanks
