Thanks so much for taking the time to give me such an uplifting picture. I must tell you that my son is also a very good athlete--loves basketball and is a very fast runner. He does quite well in school, too. I also happen to think he is quite handsome. My husband and I have tried to focus on what is so special about him (a lot in my book) and to help him feel confident no matter what his final height turns out to be. It can be hard at times because I want him to have everything he wants. That's my job. I think we parents of CAH kids learn an early lesson about how difficult and sometimes impossible it is to shield our children from pain and disappointment. But all parents have to face up to it one day. We just have more practice--which helps in those lovely teen years!! Thanks again for reaching out. It helped more than I can say. Liz
