Start your children on the pill form as soon as possible!!! Our grandson, now almost 7 years old, almost died when he was 10 months old because the liquid medication was not being absorbed into his little system, but lying in his stomach, not only depriving him of his mandatory medication, but giving him the feeling of fullness all the time, therefore, he never wanted to eat. By the time my daughter and her husband got him to N.Y. under the care of Dr. New, he was literally dying. His local endo had no experience with newborn cah and needless to say "had no idea what he was doing" It's so scary to think we trust in these doctors who have our precious children's lives in the palm of their ignorant hands and take every thing with such a grain of salt. Thank goodness Dr. New saved Jess and sees him annually to this day. He also has an experienced endo now locally that sees him every 4 months for blood work, etc. CRUSH THE PILLS and feed to any age baby in applesauce. Jess started swallowing his pills when he turned 4 and has never had a problem with the swallowing of any medication.
