My 2 year old son had 9 ear infections over last winter. We seemed to always be on antibiotics! However, this winter he has only had 2 and has managed much better. I'm sure it was just his age, rather than the fact he has CAH. My brother suffered badly with them when he was little, and he doesn't have CAH. Some people are just susceptable.
