Re: observation

I'm not diagnosed yet, but I strongly believe that I have LOCAH. I don't know of any family members who have CAH, but I have always had a very rapid and strong heartbeat. Just recently I found out that my brother also experiences the same thing, and so do a few of my cousins. So I wonder if they may have CAH too (if it's a common trait). Just sitting, my pulse is always slightly above 100! And I remember it being a lot higher than other kids when I was in phys. ed. at grade school, and the teacher had us check our pulses before and after an activity. When I mentioned it to my doctor in the past, he said it was because I was nervous about being at the doctor's office, but that wasn't the case. Sometimes when I'm in bed at night, my heart beats so hard I can count my pulse without even touching a pressure point. Strange, huh? Don't have any answers for you. Just thought I would share that with you. Hope you find out for sure. Good luck. J.
