I asked my son's endo's clinical nurse that same question last week. She said that insect bites generally were not stressful. She did say however since my son is a baby and has not been bitten before to keep an eye on him to see if the bite seems to be bothering him, large amount of swelling, red, rash etc. depending on the severity of the reaction, either double dose or take what ever steps are necessary to ensure he is o.k. If someone has a different opinion please let us know, I'm only saying what I have been told, hope it helps. Diane
