hi well i did find otu some info and i wanted to clarify something. i had said before that there was a 1/333 chance of an italian carrying the gene and that is wrong. it is a 1/333 chance that an italian HAS cah. there is a 1/9 chance that they carry the gene. and for irish/german it is 1/14 to carry the gene. i was just curious bc like i said i do have cah and my husband is irish/german and i wanted to know if it would be worth it to get him tested to see if he carries the gene. (it is very expensive- insur. doesnt pay that much)i think a 1/14 chance of him being a carrier is pretty high so we will talk about getting tested-
