My daughter chews her florinef too, and also her cortef. This is the only way she has ever taken it... not mixed with anything or diluted in water. She just chews and swallows. She thinks nothing of it and doesn't mind the taste because she's so used to it. Her levels have always been great and she has never had any growth/weight problems. She rarely gets sick.
