Re: Timing of Blood Levels

We've tried several variations (my daughter is now 15). At first, we would just have the test done around 10 am after her regular endo appointment. We then tried around 4:30pm but those results usually showed higher levels and when meds were upped to compensate for the higher level... well we found began to see signs of over-medication (round face, puffiness, voracious appetite, weight gain and little growth). We now prefer the early morning routine around 8am (no food or meds) and see that the level of meds are controlling things without the overmedication. Good luck!
