Greg and Lisa, having a tiny baby with a health problem is such a scary thing. Please don't worry too much. My daughter (salt waster) grew very little in her first year, and was the size of a 3 month old on her first birthday, wore size two clothes in kindergarten. Until age 5 she was always WAY below the growth curve. Nice steady growth, just way below everybody else's. Her first teacher said, "My aren't you tiny?" I said, "No, she's Karen." Now she's all the way up to 7% on the growth chart and the SECOND-smallest girl in the second grade--yea!! Being small is often accompanied by a low bone-age, which is really good--it's like having extra growing years in the bank for later, when he'll need it. I guess this is the thing--growth is always going to be an issue for your little guy. He's probably always going to be too small for his age. Some CAH kids are age-appropriate size in their early years, but lots aren't--and some are too big. Too little growth may mean that he's being over-suppressed, but if his levels look good, then don't waste your time worrying. He can be really small and perfectly healthy. Karen was. Find the funny side--think how much money you'll save on Blake's clothes! Just remember you're not alone--we're all pulling for you. laurielaurie
