Thank you for your response. Reynauds syndrome is a constriction of the blood vessels in the feet and hands resulting in cold, sometimes blue extremities. My family doctor referred us to an endocrinologist at University of Missouri in Columbia. He is the one who said to wait 6 months. He ran no other test beyond what the family doctor had already run and based his diagnosis, true premature puberty and not an endocrine problem, on the fact that all hormone levels except DHEA were normal and that he felt that there was evidence of pryor breast developement. Okay, I can except that maybe it isn't CAH or Addison's but she is four years old and expericiencing puberty. There is something wrong. I feel they just don't know so they don't want to pursue it. She has put on so much wait in the past few months. She is four years old and wearing size 8 clothes. The torso of her body is just so big. I am so frustrated. I have been surfing the web and am having trouble finding any information on DHEA. I think it is the precurser hormone for steroid hormones but am not sure. Most of the information I find relates to the "health" benefits of taking it as a supplement. Does it have another name (besides dehydroepiandrosterone.) I appreciate any help you can give me.kim
