I agree with Peg

After reading your note and the responce from Peg, it was like reading our last two years. When our daughter was 5 she began showing signs of puberty. Our family Dr. was not very helpful. He wanted to see her again in 6 months. That was not good enough for us. Since our insurance requires a referal to get to a specialist, I took her to my OBGYN. She agreed she needed a peds endo. She sent a letter to her pediatrician. He called us in his office. I received a thrashing for even seeking a second opion. After 18 additional months of testing she was diagnosed with CAH just last week. Needless to say we now have a NEW family Dr.. I will never be led blindly down a path just because the tour guide has MD behind his name. His ego is not important to my or my daughter. I don't mean to sound so harsh but he was taking my daughters life way to lightly. I would suggest getting a second opion and getting to a peds endo. I pray you get the answers soon. GOD BLESS. Lisa
