Liz, let us know how it goes. One note--this is something you and your endo have to be doing together--he needs to understand that you're taking it fasting, no med, early morning--so that he can interpret your results right. EMLA has never worked for us. It seems to contract K's veins, so they always end up doing a hand stick---yuck! But it works well with my other kids... wouldn't you know it. Can it be used for immunizations, does anybody know?
