This is a HUGE concern of mine. My son is only 7 months old and is in the 50% for everything. So far so good, yet it is a long road ahead. His endo said basically the same as the above posts. First she believes that height determination is genetically defined. I am 5'9", my husband 6'5", my mother 5'9" and my dad 6'4" - needless to say EVERYONE always coments on what tall children we are going to have - talk about pressure and expections!! She goes on to say that my son will could lose about one maybe two inches off his height. However, she feels that as long as he is closely monitored and does well he could reach his actual height. I am thinking postitive and I have expressed my concerns to his endo. With close monitoring, positive attitude and lots of wishing and praying, I have to believe that he will attain his actual height. AND if he doesn't, we will all love him just the same! Kimberly
