Hiya, I got really bad stretchmarks when I was only 21 and the doctor put me on dexamethasone to help with the CAH. My development was exactly like the one you describe for yourself. At first when the stretchmarks were very dark and red all down my inside calves, I felt horrendous because even 20 denier tights couldn't disguise them and my nieces would ask me what was wrong with my legs. However, they did fade, and I'm not so bothered with them now. But they do get to me sometimes. You say that your stretchmarks they're not that noticable now. Well, then don't worry about it and enjoy life. There's more to life than stretchmarks such as the ability to walk, run, read a book, dance, laugh, laugh some more, smell, taste, see ..... As for your sister, I can sympathise as well, my stretchmarks didn't exactly improve when I got pregnant. Does her husband care? I'm fortunate that my husband says that he never even notices them unless I bring them up. The same goes for my facial hair. He says that he just doesn't see it unless I point it out to him. So, why should I care, he's gorgeous. However, it is hard being the only two in your family to have this problem, but at least you've got eachother. But do you know what I've discovered. Lots of girls and some men have stretchmarks. Even the very slim ones. Lots of love and encouragement Gis
