Hi Chris, I do not know the legal answer to your question regarding access to the medical records. We have our regular pedo and lab at one hospital and the endo is at Childrens Hospital. Our daughter is 6 and we went through the same thing for years. What we do is take her to the lab at least 7-10 days prior to the endo appt. They send the results to the pedo (which for us is fine so he has a copy). Then I call the endo secretary to warn her the tests are being faxed over, I call the pedo and tell them the endo office is by the fax machine waiting for the labs (give the lab test date and endo fax number its a big time saver). The pedo office faxes the tests to the endo secreatry and she places them on the endos desk. If there is a great concern he calls me before the appt if not we talk when we get to the appt. Our daughter is on 17mg of Cortef(tablets). She chews 10mg in the am with breakfast and the other 7.5 after school. I try hard not to give them in the late evening (seems to disturb sleep a little). Good luck! Natalie
