I also do not know the legal issues involved in obtaining a copy of blood results. In the past when I have needed to obtain records/results all that was required was a signed consent form and A LOT of follow-up. Isn't it so sad that we, the parents and patients have to do most of the work!?! As for my son's med times they are 2.5mg in am and afternoon and 5 mg in pm. Our endo feels the larger pm dose is necessary (it has never disturbed his sleep). She also isn't as concerned about the morning surge that we all have - for example blood work drawn at this peak time can result in a higher level instead of indicating the true 17OHP level. Again this is a very debatable issue. Our endo even said that not all endos treat this way - it becomes a matter of preference. KimberlyKimberly
