My son has CAH. My Grandmother is Irish and my grandfather was Welsh. They had a newborn that died and also a 2 yr old that died. I asked my father about it and he seemed closed-minded about it. He seemed agitated about discussing it. I am afraid to ask my grandmother because it may be a very sensitive or painful subject. She lives in another state very far away. I wouldn't want to discuss it in a letter or on the phone. I'm convinced that it was CAH. I know that the 2 year old had high fever and convulsions. Sounds like my son.
