I have actually asked for this meeting with the ped. gynecologist. I want someone to give me an idea of what needs to be done, if anything. Then, I can discuss it with my daughter over time. We have been told that nothing would need to be done before puberty. My daughter only has a mild fusion of the vaginal opening. She does have a vaginal opening but it is smaller than may be comfortable as an adult. The only thing she has had performed, when she was 4 years old, was a cystoscopy to determine if there were any internal problems and thankfully there were none. I am sorry to say I have never heard of labial adhesions with regard to my daughter's CAH nor does my daughter have an enlarged clitoris so I can't be of any help in that area. My daughter is a non salt waster with a very mild form of CAH which, I believe, is why she did not experience much virilization. Hope I helped a bit and I will let the board know how the visit goes in May.Liz
