Hi Mara. My daughter was instructed to do dialation by a urologist and not a gyn. She was told by her endo that it would be better to start now because it takes time. Maybe you should bring this up at your next endo appointment. This was actually his idea. I guess every situation is different. I do agree that you should sit down with your mom and try to talk. You really never know what they are thinking! We Moms were teenagers once too! I wish you all the best!
