Mine did not come with these special bandages because I got a larger tube that I could use over time. Like the previous response, I wrap the places with plastic wrap. What I do is is take a q-tip and put about the size of a pea on the q-tip and spread it over the site, then wrap a folded piece of plastic wrap around the place and tape it. don't rub the ointment in....just put a layer on and cover it. I do this on both arms where the arm bends and on the top side of both wrists. You might want to try putting a sock over the hands so that she does not get any on her mouth. Another good tip for blood draw days is to make sure she has had something to drink recently. This seems to help us. If you can have a feeding just prior, or let her have a bottle of water while you wait....it seems to help. Nurses have asked me to do this at the lab.
