Ella had surgery almost 18 years ago when she was 2 and I'm sure much has changed since then. I just remember that the day following surgery, they removed the catheter (spelling?) and said she would know when and how much to do. Unlike us adults if it hurt, she would stop. I set her down on the floor to walk, she ran down the hall plopped onto a trike in the lounge and peddled down the hall. I was standing there in pain for her with my legs crossed and she didn't even squirm. They pop back so quickly. Hope all goes well. Vicky
