I have CAH and I have never felt like I was a man trapped in a womans' body. When I was old enought to understand and ask questions I was furious when I found out how radical the surgery was on little girls(that was back in 66) .No one knew any of these new terms or conditions and the doctors did what they could at that time. I agree w/those who feel that CAH doesnt contribute to intersexed individuals. I am a lesbian and I am a woman in every sense of the word and I have never felt like a man! I do believe that my lesbianism is biological, as do a lot of people. Im not saying that girls w/CAH will be lesbians but for me, taking a bath in testosterone for 3-9 mnths may have contributed. It is great to see women who disagree w/the Discovery Channel. Every medical condition doesnt have to be a direct result of another.
