Cheryl,I am so glad that you posted. I have read the INSO's research on surgeries and was not very happy. I wanted to find more research done but have not been able to. Do you know of any other studies that have been done of the success of surgeries done to infant girls with cah? Let me be more specific. Surgeries done to the clitoris. Female sexuality is not only the vagina but this always seems to end up being the only part focused on. I really would love to hear from adult women with cah who had surgery to the clitoris as an infant who can tell me that it was a success. I am so frustrated at the lack of response as I think in the year 2000 this would be a perfectly normal concern! Where are the studies to this issue other than ISNO?? Haven't any doctors out there done studies? I know that the surgeries done in the 60's were failures but what about the 70's and 80's? I just want some real information. Please help!
