OK, I was doing fine until I read your message Liz, and now I'm crying. I think I'm just tired cause I stayed up until 2 AM looking for answers! Ella is home for the weekend from college, cause she's stressed. We are searching for alternatives to all these drugs and some answers, and she needed to get away from a certain young man. We are very Catholic, Pro Life (Ella is the past pro life president at her college), very against birth control and unnatural means of contraception, and we very concerned about staying away from chemicals in foods, etc. Although McDonalds does take over on busy busy days. (and as you probably already know, coffee and chocolate don't fall into unhealthy categories in my book). We think we are finding some answers, but are not sure if this is the right path either. I know our Endo will not want to hear what we have to say on Monday. We did successfully start Ella's periods after 15 months of absence without Provera or birth control pills I'm not sure if it was the vitamins, herbs, etc. or the reduction of stress, stopping of sugar, caffine, and diet pop(she's given these up for lent) or the 3 day silent retreat she spent in a convent over spring break, but I think God is defintly telling us something. What does God want for her??? That has been a big question for her as she approaches her senior year. Does CAH and the lack of periods mean she's not to get married and have babies, something which seems to be top priority right now? Was the starting of her periods, Him telling her to not let CAH interfere with her decision, a sign that we need to expolore the more natural alternitives or What???? We don't know. One thing that I do know is that God is the only one I can rely on these days for the right answers. I just have to be patient. He's lead us this far successfully and given me the strength to continue this search. If you are religious, please pray for us as we prepare to talk to our Endo on Monday. And I will remember all of the CAH parents and children in my prayers also tonight. It's hard, isn't it? If prayer isn't your thing, please just remember us on Monday and wish us well. Thanks for listening, again! Ellasmom/Vicky
