I am a 35 year old with CAH, I stumbled upon the intersex site by accident and it disturbed me. I have always struggled with poor self-esteem knowing that I was diffrent and sites like this makes you feel worse. I have two beautiful little girls that I gave birth to and neither one of them are affected by my CAH, I always thought it would be hard to have kids but it suprisingly was very easy. I also have had to surgeries, the first one was when I was an infant and the second one when I was 23, I think the one they did 35 years ago is much diffrent than what they do today. I had more virilization thru the years and in order to feel comfortable with myself I had it done a second time. I had a pediatric urologist at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia do the wedge technique, where you didn't lose sensitivety. I also have a sister and a brother who is affected by this disorder.
