Hey Cheryl, thanks for bringing up the "removal" issue. I've been reading this board off and on for a while and even responded to a few folks. I've become less eager to contact people due to the fact that the last lady I responded to said she had classic CAH but wasn't very accurate in her symptoms - I quickly got the feeling that I was being interviewed for a feature story. I noticed soon after I quit writing that some of you got aggrevated w/her. Anyway, here's the deal - yes there are more than Cheryl that went through the removal process and it is STILL difficult to accept. However, I myself have two wonderful children and wouldn't mind sharing my "war story." In exchange, I would like for you - since you and your families are enjoying the benefits of modern medicine to inquire as to whether there is a corrective surgery option for adult CAH ladies who went through the removal process. Doctors can transplant, revive, and even clone these days - I don't think it's unconceiveable. If you guys will ask around, I promise I will work with you to help your daughters. I'm having a great life, I truly feel blessed in alot of ways and truly believe EVERYBODY has a story CAH or not. I'll be watching the board and appreciate any consideration anyone gives to my request. Thanks a bunch!!Just Browsing
