Hi Eileen, thanks for sharing those letters with us. I found them very interesting. The one point that really bothered me, though, was in the first letter where she talks about having undescended testicles. She did NOT have undescended testicles, that's only what the problem appeared to be from the outside. She has NO testilces... period. She has ovaries. It was unclear as to whether this had ever been explained to her. It didn't seem as though it was. My daughter is also a tom-boy, and relates better with boys than with girl, so it was interesting to read their stories. I do believe all that testosterone exposure plays a roll in that, despite what doctors might say. But I think the genetics (XX/XY thing) plays a role too... Her genes say she's a girl, and for all her tom-boyishness she can't go to bed without her "babies" (stuffed animals) and she loves taking care of real babies too. She hates dresses, but loves her long hair. She wouldn't touch a barbie doll if you paid her, but she probably wouldn't go anywhere near a snake either. She is who she is.... a pretty little girl who likes to play with boys. And her future's looking rosy to me!Laurie
