I agree with everything you guys are saying. The one thing I noticed from the responses of the CAH INSA women was their anger! I think that's a completely different issue than the CAH/surgery--and can influence how they feel about themselves and their sexuality. I grew up a tomboy and I'm not CAH. Today I have 6 kids and believe me, I like my husband (if I'm being too subtle here, let me know) =) When I was dating, a guy I liked offered to play catch with me. As we were tossing the ball around, he suddenly started laughing. "I'm sorry," he said, "it's just that you throw like a girl!" I didn't mind that he didn't like the way I throw, but I was insulted that "throwing like a girl" was a bad thing to him. I AM a girl! How else could I throw but as one? Needless to say, it was the last time I ever went out with him. Life is too short!laurie
