This is so interesting to read that other children with cah have the red, hot ears. Our 7 year old grandson can get the red hot ears (sometimes just one ear) anytime without any reason (he's not getting sick, he's not tired, he's hasn't just taken his medication, etc. for no reason at all. I don't think my daughter has ever brough this matter up to his endo, but i'm wondering if anyone else has had this matter addressed with their drs. and had any explanation given for it? They will be seeing Dr. New next month so I'd love for her to address this. Is high blood pressure more likely for children with cah? Jess is given his meds at 8 am and not again until 8 pm and his levels appear ok now and his bone age is on target for a 7 year old, which he is. These red ears really concern me. thanks for your comments.
