Regarding the solu-cortef vial, I had an experience a couple months ago (luckily at home where I had tools!). I pressed down on the top, and the STOPPER GOT STUCK in the neck of the vial. This "stuck stopper" completely prevented one bit of water from going down into the powder. I tried numerous times to get the stopper to go down by repressing on the cap & tapping on the vial but nothing made one bit of water go down. Then I got out a screwdriver (washed it with alcohol) small enough to fit into that small open hole in the middle of the cap and pushed with it (put the alcohol pad on the hole first). The pressure of pushing down with the screwdriver made the stopper go down. I did have another vial on hand just in case. But, this was a learning experience to me ... to keep some kind of tool with the solu-cortef just in case this happens when out somewhere. Also to carry two vials, just in case one would break since they are glass.Mom
