My e-mail is not working today. My husband will be home tomorrow. He is the computer expert. I am new to this whole thing. Just to let you know, there is some evidence pointing toward the fact that many, many CAH carriers have stress related problems. I, myself almost died in child birth with my first child and had a very difficult time with my second. It took 24 epidural shots for 24 hours of labor with my daughter for a vaginal birth and they couldn't keep me numb for my emergency c-section with my son. Since childhood I take several shots of novicane along with epinephrin at the dentists office and couldn't be numbed for a severe finger injury that cut to the bone. I've woken up in the middle of back surgery, colonoscopies and, if the anesthesiologist hadn't listened to me and had a back up injection ready, I would have woken up during the removal of two fibroidal tumors. My husband, when under stress, has a rash unlike any I have seen before and only gets relief upon taking cortisone. All my doctors, including the entire team of anesthisiologists at Yale New Haven Hospital have thrown up their hands in frustration as to what causes this to happen. There are many other symptoms that are suspect and stress related. I am not saying this is the answer, but I would be remiss not to explore the possibility. Anything you want to share is welcomed.
