My daughter has CAH and is in a protocol at NIH. She is 13 y/o. Her doctor there suggested that we think about having her adrenal glands removed. My daughter's androgen levels are always way to high and they can never seem to get the right dose on her cortef. She is now doing much better with her weight. Has anyone else's child had an adrenalectomy and if so, please let me know if it has helped. Thanks.
