Re: Headaches

Ella has been having headaches also. Maybe it's the college thing, but she tells me that her friends tell her that she has alot of headaches which leads me to belive they don't. Stress really aggrivates the adrenals. We have been consulting with a nutrionalist on what supplements might help her get back on track. He wasn't surprised when she checked the headache box on the information sheet. In one of my books it says these also help for headaches. He recommended Calcium, Magnesium and the B Vitamins. He told us to take Mag in the am and calcium in the pm to help sleep. We purchased water soluble so that any excess would be flushed from her system. We also found natural progesterone cream successful in starting her periods after 15 months. (she was only on it for 7 days) The endo ok'd this after it worked. Surprise! I read about this in Dr. John Lee's book on menopause. It talks about using the cream to regulate periods and releave headaches also. But we are just starting and haven't gotten that far yet. College is hard enough without having to fight all of these other things. And good old mom isn't there to help them through. It's tough on us too! Keep us posted if you find any other info. Vicky
