My son is 4 and since he was born we gave him his meds the same way. We crush it, mix it with a little bit of milk and in a tiny bottle (that they gave us from the hospital)complete with nipple and all, give it to him three times a day. I know some of you are thinking, a bottle at this age? To this day he has NEVER turned down taking his meds. As a matter of fact he goes to the refridgerator himself, finds the one marked with 7:00 or 3:00 and brings it to me, asks if he got the "right one" and actually enjoys sucking it down until the bottle is drained dry. He also will take it in his sleep when necessary by automatically opening his mouth when he feels the nipple hit his lip. He never even wakes up! I know that someday he will feel ready to switch to a more "big boy" approach on his own, but until then we always know that he has gotten evey last drop of his meds without a moment of fussing. In regard to the bracelet: I think most of them have the red emblem on the front. We told my son (also at 3 years old) that it was just like Spiderman's and it had magic powers to help keep him well. I enlisted the help of some family members to rave about how "cool" it was for a few days and he hasn't looked to take it off since. I must say that he has plumped up a bit since he began the Cortef pill and it looks like we may be needing to remove it to add a link or two. There is no saying how that will go. I'm not sure he even likes Spiderman anymore. Oh well, maybe we'll try Pokemon this time! Aghhhhhh! I hope one of these suggestions will help you. LKTLKT
