Re: bracelets and pills

Since you're new, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Mara, 17 with CAH, and I try to be the voice of humor/"I know you're worried but we turn out fine" person. Anyway, being that I can be a tad stubborn myself (all right, completely pigheaded when I set my mind to something!), I would try reverse psychology. I always HATED being told that I was too young to do something. Eat some applesauce or something (minus the Cortef) and make a big deal about how delicious it is. When she asks to have some, tell her that she's too young, maybe when she's older. Let her whine for a little bit, then say "*sigh* Okay, I guess it would be all right." As for the bracelet, let her make it her own. Take it off the chain and put it on a pretty ribbon of her choosing, or let her add charms to the other links of the bracelet. EMTs would still be able to easily find the med tag.
