We are 21 weeks pregnant and were told yesterday that our baby "may" have CAH.(she has "ambiguous genitalia" after several ultrasounds). We are very scared. What type of life is this girl going to lead? What strains will it put on my wife/I and our 2 other children. Are the weight and body hair issues manageable? Is the surgery straight-forward? Most important for me are the hormonal/pyschological issues. What can expect? In what type of behavior do the hormonal imbalances or the side effects of mediction manifest themselves? Please help me!
