Beth, I am so sorry you had to go through your daughter's surgery without the support of your mother's presence. I'm sure it was very difficult for you. When I gave birth to my daughter 6 years ago I had a "near death" experience. I won't go into detail, but I can assure you that your mother WAS with you.
