Just to echo every one else, do what you think is right. If it's very enlarged, it's probably best to do it now. If it's not too bad, I personally would probably wait. I had surgery as a little one, and now I need another one as a teenager. For years I wondered about the surgery I had when I was little and didn't fully understand it until recently. I would rather have had it all in one shot when I was old enough to participate and understand what was going on, but there's no way my parents could have known. They were just doing what the doctors said was best for their little girl. Who knows, maybe if my parents had waited I'd wish they had done it when I was little. Like I said, it's your call.
