Ask your doctors if they have any studies about the success of the surgery. By success, I mean was there any damage done to the nerves.I only know of one study done a few years ago that was saying that it had a very high failure rate.But maybe there are other studies SOMEWHERE. I am now facing the possibility that my daughter may have nerve damage. No parent should have to go through what I have been going through. I thought everything went ok with her surgery.That was years ago.Get all the information that you can.Ask the doctors how they know about sparing the nerves and MAKE them give you some kind of proof.Again, if anybody knows of any studies done, please speak up.
