Amanda's endo called today. He had told me that her high levels were warding off puberty for her, but her last blood test shows her levels coming down and all the ones for puberty have kicked in. He is starting the paperwork for Lupron to begin. This poor kid... Also said her insulin was elevated..(86 with a blood glucose of 99. Should be 30 with that blood glucose) so he also wants to begin Metmorphin (Glucophage) when her urologist clears her from her surgery. I feel so bad for Amanda. I have to sit and talk with her about this now..Keep your fingers crossed for us... Eileen
