When Our son was born, his heart rate significantly higher than normal. In Tennessee a test for CAH is not performed. The Dr.'s beleived his heart rate was related to low sugar. The fact that he has CAH was not discovered until 10 weeks later when he had an adrenal crisis. How closely the two are related, I don't know. He is a beautiful, happy, healthy 3 yr old now.
