Eileen, we have been doing the Lupron for years. In fact, I just gave Kristin her shot for this month 2 days ago. It's not bad to give. It is monthly. We use EMLA cream on the site first. We time it so she will be asleep and she never has awakened while I was giving a shot. My husband does stand right by her to be sure she doesn't involuntarily move her arms/legs. She did that once and knocked the shot right out of my hand. We're talking some pretty expensive stuff and it just ran out onto the floor. The shots have worked beautifullly for Kristin. She is now 11-1/2 and I hope we can give the shots for 1 or 2 more years just to give an opportunity to get a little more height for her.
