In the past 9 years we have been through at least 5 different insurance plans (due to employer changing plans, one of us changing jobs...) and we have NEVER had a problem with insuring our CAH daughter. The only problem we ever encountered was in putting her as a rider on our life insurance policy... that, they wouldn't do. Once she is old enough to work, I believe she has the right to life insurance coverage if it is offered by her employer. But she will probably never be able to purchase individual life insurance coverage unless she pays a huge amount.
