We are in this process of a change right now. So far, all we are supposed to do is show a document that came after he ended his job that basically states that we were insured for more than 18 months. So, based on that, they are supposed to accept us. However....our new insurance cnverage does not start until one calendar month after hire. So, that leaves us with whether or not to pay the COBRA (continuing our existing insuance policy)during that month. YOu have 45 days from the end of emplyment to enroll...so we have time to figure this out. If anyone knows for sure that we need to pay the COBRA for our CAH child to ensure that the new company accepts us..I would LOVE to know!DebbiW
