I am 35 and have CAH and I have never been denied insurance (health/life/group/individual). The problem we have in the ER as to the doctors not knowing what CAH is works in our favor when applying for insurance. If you don't make a big deal out of it, they don't seem to catch it. I've told my insurers when applying and have given them my endo's name and number but I downplayed it. Once you make a year, you are all set anyway. My premiums for life insurance have been lower than my husband's.
