YES there is a test, but I cant recall the name right now. My husband and I are both carriers of the gene, and my sons pediatric endorine doctor, suggested I have a genetic workup done should I decide to have more children. Are you a carrier of the CAH gene? If not, your baby will not have CAH. He will however inherit the gene, therefor, be a carrier. If both parents are carriers: ---There is a 50% chance the baby will be just a carrier. ---There is a 25% chance the baby will be born with CAH. ---There is a 25% chance the baby will not be effected at all.
