I think it's an ACTH stimulation test?? My husband and I are both carriers (obviously), and 5 yrs ago my sister and my husband's brother got married! (Yes, a bit weird, but it makes Christmas holidays a lot easier!). They were concerned about being carriers, so they both had the test done. What I did not know is that the tests are not always conclusive: they weren't sure about my sister because of where our families' genetic marker for CAH is placed (each family is different, or finding the gene would be a lot easier), but they were certain that my brother-in-law is NOT a carrier, so as a couple, they will definately not have an affected child. Chances of you being a carrier, Cindy, are pretty slim too! Good luck - we'll pray for you!
